Experience
Writing fictional stories on the connections between body image and the beauty world made Roveena realize she wanted to undercover the nuances of race, culture, and gender in the overlooked areas of beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. A a passionate journalist and author, Roveena writes about South Asian contributions to skincare, Sikh representation in beauty, and more. Roveena been contributing to Byrdie since May 2021.
Education
Roveena will be graduating in 2022 from Western University in London, Ontario, where she's studying a double major in Media Communications and Spanish.
