Keys Soulcare Be Luminous Exfoliator is a unique product that exfoliates skin without the use of granules. If you’re looking for an exfoliator that is gentle on skin, yet still removes dead skin cells without drying or stripping skin, this exfoliant is an excellent product to use.
We put the Keys Soulcare Be Luminous Exfoliator to the test after receiving a complimentary sample from the brand. Keep reading for our full product review.
Whether you exfoliate every week or you’ve never tried it, there’s something deeply satisfying about getting rid of excess skin cells to reveal a more luminous complexion. If you have sensitive skin, you may have shied away from using exfoliants altogether to avoid having your skin react to certain acids or granules. Since exfoliating is a key part of a well-rounded skincare routine, you shouldn’t have to go without it if you find yourself needing something gentler.
Ahead, I tested out Keys Soulcare Be Luminous Exfoliator, a powder exfoliant that needs water to activate, and I loved the way my skin looked (and felt) after just a week’s worth of use.

About My Skin: No stranger to exfoliation
I have oily/combination skin that can be sensitive at times, but I am no stranger to exfoliating. I typically use chemical exfoliants a few times per week to get rid of excess dead skin and help with some of my texture concerns. I have used exfoliants with granules in them along with powder exfoliants before, so this type of formula isn’t completely new to me. I prefer to use exfoliants without granules as I’ve found the granules tend to irritate my skin or cause tiny bumps. I have a routine skincare regimen and brands that I use often are Biologique Recherche, Skinceuticals, and Renee Rouleau.
How to Apply: Dispense, add water, massage
You can pour out a small amount of powder to the palms of your hands and add water, or you can apply it to your wet hands and face. You will need to massage the product between your palms, create a foam, and then apply it all over the face, massaging and rubbing it in a circular motion until you’ve covered everything. Continue to massage the exfoliant into the skin for a minute or so, and then rinse with warm water and pat dry. The product tends to come out quickly from the top opening, so be sure to keep that in mind when dispensing it so that you don’t pour out too much.
The Results: I've converted to powder exfoliants
I truly loved using this product and was satisfied with the results I saw after just one week of using it.
I enjoyed the consistency of the foam and how it felt on my skin and liked the fact that after I rinsed it off, my skin did not feel dry or tight as it’s felt after using other exfoliants.
I exfoliate two to three times per week, and the Be Luminous Exfoliator worked well with all of my other products and did not disrupt my routine whatsoever. I enjoyed the consistency of the foam and how it felt on my skin and liked the fact that after I rinsed it off, my skin did not feel dry or tight as it’s felt after using other exfoliants. My dead skin came off and my complexion looked more vibrant, I also noticed that after exfoliating, my serums felt a little more potent because of how effective this product is.
Overall, my complexion looked great and this product was really easy to incorporate into my already-established skincare routine. I also appreciate the fact this product is fragrance-free.
The Value: An absolute bargain
For the quality of ingredients you’re getting, the size of the bottle, how little powder you need, and the results, the price tag of $25 seems to be too good to be true. This exfoliant will last you quite a while when used appropriately, and we consider it to be highly budget-friendly (a bargain, really) for everything it does.
