While studying at CUNY Hunter College, Isabella began her foray into beauty marketing at indie brands. While copywriting for small brands, and maintaining a beauty-focused YouTube channel, she became President of Hunter College's fashion and culture magazine, CULT, where she led the beauty vertical. After graduating in 2019, Isabella switched to the beauty industry's editorial side by landing her first job at Coveteur as a beauty fellow. Since then, she has freelanced for multiple publications like The Zoe Report, Well+Good, BuzzFeed, and more, covering beauty, wellness, fashion, and lifestyle. These days, Isabella enjoys scanning the internet for the latest trends and most efficacious products and rituals as a News Writer at Byrdie and a Commerce Beauty Writer at Bustle Digital Group.
