Your perfume isn’t just how you smell—it’s how you feel. Usually, it's an accessory to how you present yourself to the world, but these days, it can serve as a source of comfort and nostalgia during days spent at home. In the upcoming weeks, we're sharing a new version of Fragrance Wardrobe, our series in collaboration with The Fragrance Foundation that highlights the rotating perfume “wardrobes” of tastemakers through key points in their life. In this new take, we'll be asking them to share their favorite scents through the lens of comfort and their at-home routine. Get to know them better via the scents they choose to wear during this uncertain time.

How would you describe your fragrance wardrobe?
"Ahh, fragrance! I love fragrance. Honestly, fragrances can evoke so much in the mind because of memories and nostalgia. I've always found that so interesting. I would say my style really changes depending on the event and time of day.
For the evenings, I love heavy scents with notes of violet, amber, cedarwood, black orchid. My favorite scent of the moment for night is Byredo Bal d'Afrique or Jo Malone Dark Amber & Ginger Lily. During the day, I lean much more towards fresher scents. For example, Jo Malone Wood Sage Sea Salt is my go-to daytime scent. That's iconic Diipa!"
What was the first fragrance you ever bought and why?
"I remember this 100 percent. Funny enough, the first fragrance I wanted to own, I didn't buy. I stole it from my mom's closet (oops!). It was the Hugo Boss Deep Red. I was drawn to it because it had this dark, mysterious, sweet smell and I didn't have money so I would just sneak in and grab hers.
"But, to answer your question, the first fragrance I truly every purchased was CK Into You—it was the trendy scent at the time and I loved the freshness of it. After that, I used Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb for the longest—but honestly, who didn't?"

Do you still wear fragrance even when you don't leave the house?
"To be honest, no. My shower gel and body gel are pretty scented already, so that's good enough for a normal day given we aren't going out much. If I do go out, I use Byredo Gypsy Water. In my mind, when I go out, fragrance is like another accessory."
Your WFH fragrance:
"All the delicious Byredo bath stuff in Gypsy Water."
Your cozy sweatsuit fragrance:
"Easy! This is definitely Jo Malone Wood Sage Sea Salt."
The fragrance that brings you comfort:
"Hmm, I think this one is the smell of Oleg—Bleu de Chanel."
The fragrance you spritz to bring back good memories:
"Diptyque Phylosykos because it reminds me of summer holidays in the Mediterranean."
The candle you're currently burning right now and why:
"Jo Malone Wild Fig and Cassis. This just smells like home to me, we have always burned this in our home. It smells like comfort and warmth."
What you smell when you want to unwind/destress:
"I go back to my roots here—I love incense of sandalwood and lavender."
The scent you'll associate with this time:
"This may or may not be a typical answer, given the circumstance, but it's not a perfume or room spray. We've been home and cooking so much that I think the smell of home-cooked food will always now remind me of this period, where we really soaked up time in our home together, trying new recipes."
